    Relax into sound

    Everything is made up of vibrations and has a specific frequency. As far back as 500 BC, the Greek philosopher Pythagoras was experimenting with sound as a healing tool. According to Pythagoras, “Each celestial body, in fact each and every atom produces a particular sound on account of its movement, its rhythm or vibration. All these sounds and vibrations form a universal harmony in which each element contributes to the whole.”

    Do you feel like you get easily out of balance? At Brighton Hatha Yoga we alternate strengthening and softening movements of the whole body with various postures in a relaxed tempo. We move and breathe to feel better. We balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain. We work with different variations depending on current health states.
