What we do

Healthy Environment – Sustainability

Royal Sister offers individuals and organizations knowledge, design and practical tool set to achieve a sustainable life and an environment based on the principles of Permaculture. We help people and organizations to discover the beauty of the natural world.

Healthy Individuals – Lifestyle

Royal Sister coaches individuals and groups on how to improve their lifestyle. Yoga training (Exercise, Breathing, Relaxation, Diet and Meditation). The aim is to facilitate personal transformation and empowerment through the union of body, mind and spirit.

Healthy Organizations – UX Research & Design

Royal Sister offers businesses, organizations and communities services to improve their Branding, Product management, UX research and design. The aim is to support organizations to become truly sustainable and trustworthy.

A short background

  • Royal Sister is a registered trademark and the company is run by Marie Glad.
  • Marie Glad has an academic degree in Media and Communications Studies.
  • Marie has also studied Film Production and produced a range of documentaries, music and presentation videos.
  • She is also a senior design & communications professional with 18 years experience across user centred design, research, marketing communication, branding, art direction, project management, etc.
  • In 2004 she set up Royal Sister to be her design & communications agency.
  • A couple of years later Royal Sister also became the independent record label of her own music. She is also a singer-songwriter.
  • Since 2008 she teaches yoga, meditation and tuning for individuals and groups.
  • In 2010 she ran as a candidate for the local government in Stockholm and represented a new party PopVox (the voice of the people), an ideologically neutral party in mandating the implementation of e-democracy, as a complement to the current representative democracy.
  • In 2014 she embarked on a new journey that she says “truly transformed her life and helped her regain hope for the future”. The answer is Permaculture or Regenerative culture. Today she would like to inspire each of us “to connect with our inner being and rediscover the beauty of nature, the earth, our home”.
  • Since 2017 she is Professor in UX at Barcelona Technology School. She engages with Master’s level students from all over the world in deploying leading-edge Design Doing focusing on project-based learning, user-centric R&D and cross-functional collaboration.
  • One can easily say that Royal Sister has many strings to it’s bow. And it is all interconnected by the vision to support the transformation of today’s paradigm of competition, groundlessness and stress into a healthy living on earth based on healthy individuals, healthy businesses and healthy environment.
